Apart from fashion, hairstyle is one of the most important factors that adorn women’s beauty. So, today MCSARA will introduce you to a gorgeous hairstyle that will help shine your beauty: Waterfall braid!!!

Waterfall braids are among the prettiest ways to adorn your hair this spring. This hairstyle may be a quick and easy accessory to experience for a day at the office, a night out with friends or even a more formal occasion. Strikingly feminine and incredibly versatile at the same time, the waterfall braid can be mix with most of the hairstyle of your choosing, thus adding texture, volume, and charming detail to your overall look. And what is the best thing? This braid is not at all as complicated as it looks. Here, we show you how to achieve a stylish waterfall braid by yourself.

A waterfall braid is a hairstyle that contains a circle, horizontal or diagonal plait throughout loose hair with strands flowing through. It looks like streams in a real waterfall. This hairstyle can be easily suitable for daily activities such as an office meeting, a wedding or even for more formal events. Long or short, blonde or brunette, this hairdo looks beautiful on every woman.

Waterfall Braid with Curls

Whether you have naturally wavy hair or not, a waterfall braid with curls can make a completely different change to your look. Big ringlets will result in a more romantic feel while loose waves tend to create a fun boho flair. A simple braid around the top of your head will resemble a pretty flower crown made out of hair.

Waterfall Braid with Straight Hair

A waterfall braid with straight hair is probably the easiest way to start your braiding experience. This style is simple and works exceptionally well on medium and long hair lengths. Therefore, you can easily master it at home. For a more concentrated effect, focus your braid on a small section of your hair and secure the end with a hair tie.

Waterfall Braid for Short Hair

If you’re sporting a short hair, the waterfall braid is the perfect look to mix things up a little. Braided tightly, all the way around the top of your head, it will grace your hair like a crown while also adding a playful twist to your style. The key to this hairstyle is braiding it along the line of your side part and loosening the stands a bit once you’re finished to create texture and volume.

Sideswept Waterfall Braid

This gorgeous version of the waterfall braid particularly gets well on thick, long hair. If your chop is on the thinner side, you can increase your hair in volume and length by adding clip-in hair extensions. To create the braid, start with a normal waterfall braid just above your forehead and gently descending it to the back of your neck as you go.

A waterfall braid is the perfect beautiful hairstyle for every occasion. And believe us, it’s not so hard as you suppose. Here are some instructions for you.

#1: Separate your hair into your first section.

Pick up your first section of hair which is near your forehead. Usually, waterfall braids begin with a 1-inch section, but this section can vary in size depending on how thick you want your braid to start out.

#2:    Divide it into 3 equal parts.

Running 2 fingers through the hair section to make 3 equal pieces of hair.

  • It’s important to determine where to place your hand when braiding hair. Usually, the most successful way to hold hair as your braid is to hold 2 portions of hair in a hand, and the third portion of hair on the other hand.
  • Keep your fingers stay in a curled, tight position to hold the strands of hair as you move them to form the braid.

#3: Complete a braid sequence.

First, crossing the left portion of hair over the middle portion, and then cross the right portion of hair over the new middle portion (which was the original left portion of hair).

  • Once this sequence is complete, add more hair into the braid outside of the three original portions of hair you started with.
  • This process of adding hair to the braid outside of the original three portions of hair is a key to make a French braid. The waterfall braid begins with a typical three-strand braid but then continues on as an altered French braid.

#4: Continue braiding by incorporating new hair.

From now then on, you will be using a French braid technique to add hair to the braid from both the top and bottom areas of the braid. It is the repetition of the above step. Keep doing that until you get your braid hair around your head.

#5: Finish the braid.

Finish your braiding by no longer adding and dropping hair.

  • You can secure the bottom of the braid with a small elastic band, or with a bobby pin or clip.
  • Use some hairsprays to keep strands in place and make your hair braid more beautiful.

A whole new decade is coming, which means it’s time to try something new like a waterfall braid. Making a journey on this post and you will realize that making a waterfall braid is not difficult as you have ever thought.
