In the following, we give you some basic steps to care for virgin hair extensions.
Step 1: Detangle your hair extensions

This is an important step before shampooing your hair. Make sure that your hair is free of tangles or snares. Using a wide tooth or a detangling brush, gently comb out your hair extensions. You usually should comb or brush your virgin hair extensions from the bottom up, with small sections at a time. If you treat carefullly your extensions, your hair will last longer. Also, support your attachment when brushing or combing your hair.
Step 2: Shampoo/Condition
Please shampoo your hair extensions at least one time per week. If you increase perspiration or are in a dusty environment, often shampoo your hair extensions. Curly textures require frequent shampoos or co-washes to look its best hair. Clean your virgin hair extensions with a moisturizing shampoo.
Wash your hair in a downward motion, shampoo from the top down in one motion. Condition your hair with a moisturizing conditioner. Follow with the conditioner in the same manner. If your hair extensions are dry or heavy, it is the best time to shampoo
Rinse well and then style. It is very good for curly hair styles.
Step 3: Deep Condition
To keep your hair extensions in tip-top shape, use a deep conditioner or hot oil treatmentproducts in your hair twice a month. More or less, depending on your hair’s need. You should treat your hair with chemical or use irons.
Step 4: Styling
As mentioned in step 1, always keep your virgin hair extensions tangle free. Brush or comb slightly and avoid any excess tension. You should use a detangling brush to comb your hair extensions every day so that it does not develop tangles, especially in the nape area.
Heat is your hair extension biggest enemy. The more you use it, the shorter the lifespan of your hair. Use heat in moderation. Do not use high temperatures. High temperatures can be the result of damaging the hair, including permanently altering the hair texture. Use right and suitable styling products that are alcohol-free.
At Night: Put your hair “up” at night. Braid or pin curl your hair before going to sleep. It is very important in preventing tangles. Do not sleep with loose wet hair, for it may tangle while you sleep.
